Hello,
I'm new to the board and new to the hobby. I started collecting about 9 months ago when a friend brought me a pair of dice back from a Vegas trip. I've purchased about 200 dice since then and I can see from reading the board that I've already made a few mistakes. I'm interested dice from everywhere, but I'm most intrigued by Reno and small town Nevada casinos. Seems that their logos are a bit more interesting than the Vegas casinos.

I've also been known to roll dice at the craps table occasionally, but I've found that its easier to control the cash flow by collecting dice.

Thanks for this board, I hope to learn a lot.
AJ

That is so true! Welcome to the dice board! I would have to agree with you, I like the dice from Reno and the smaller towns, especially those pre-1970's dice!

Welcome aboard Chicago Dice! Are you collecting dice from the casinos that are being built in your area? Experience at Tunica and Biloxi shows that the first wave of casinos (the ones that at first you think will be there forever)sometimes suddenly close and the very dice you assume will always be around are GONE!! A perfect example is the original Circus-Circus at Tunica. I know of only two pairs and I have them. They never show up on the market. If you are fortunate enough to be close to those Chicago area casinos, make sure and stockup. Hope to see you on the net often!! CrimsonTide
